The Wii Sports video game was developed and produced by Nintendo for the Wii video game console and was included as a with the Wii console for its launch in all territories except Japan. This video game is part of an ongoing series of games commonly referred to as the Wii Series.

Wii Sports is a collection of five sports simulations. Players use the Wii Remote to mimic actions performed in real life sports, such as swinging a baseball bat, for example. The sports included are baseball, tennis, golf, bowling and boxing.

Here are some of the Wii Sports cheat codes:

Wii Sports Unlockable: Special Bowling Ball
You must achieve pro level on the bowling game.

Wii Sports Unlockable: Tennis court:
At the warning screen after selecting characters, hold down 2.

Wii Sports Hint – Barrier Strike
For the ‘Power Throws’ training game in bowling, turn either left or right until there are four red bars pointing in the direction of your choice across the bowling line. This may not always work, especially with the big numbers of pins but this will almost always give you a strike. Feel free to experiment with different numbers of red bars across the bowling line since three and four almost always work for me.

Wii Sports Hint – 91 Strike
In the “Power Throws” training game for bowling, you might notice 2 red buttons at the end of the alley – 1 left and 1 right. When you get to the final bowl for 91 pins, you can bowl the ball along the top of the barrier on either side and hit this button.

Move your Mii all the way to the left or right, and turn the aim 2 or 3 clicks towards the barrier. Let go of the ball at the highest point possible, with just a bit of spin to keep the ball on the barrier.

If successful, you will hear a click, the screen will shake and all the pins will fall down.

Wii Sports Mii Parade
You can add more Miis in Parade and audiences. Use Wii Sports to do it:

1. Make about 10 Mii’s.

2. Transfer those Mii’s to your Wiimote.

3. Delete the Mii’s that are transfered to the Wiimote out of the plaza.

4. Start up Wii Sports.

5 When given the option of which Mii to use during gameplay choose the option to get the Mii from the Wii Remote.

6. After viewing the Mii’s on the Wiimote back out by using the B button.

7. Exit out of Wii Sports and back onto the Wii Menu.

Now check the Mii parade and all 10 of the Miis that were on the Wiimote are in the parade. Now if you dont want the Miis on the Wiimote just delete them off. These Miis will now show up in all Wii Sports games that have an audience.

Wii Sports Bowling Ball Color Change
You can select your bowling ball color before you bowl by using the directional pad. When you reach the screen warning, ‘Make sure nothing is around you’, hit the A button and hold the D-pad (until the alley UI appears) to choose your color:
UP = blue
LEFT = red
DOWN = green
RIGHT = yellow

Many people have asked as to what the difference between the Wii Motion Remote that came with their initial system and the new and improved Wii Motion Plus Remote. For that reason we have decided to dissect the two remotes functionality to provide you with a better understanding as to just how the Nintendo Wii Motion Plus Remote surpasses the functionality of the original Wii Motion Remote.

For those who are not wanting to purchase a new Wii Remote you can simply purchase a Wii Motion Plus Adapter attachment. You can also purchase the Wii Motion Plus Remotes as a new unit and they come standard with all new Wii Systems these days in most areas.

Integrating a dual-axis tuning fork gyroscope as well as a single axis gyroscope. This is what permits the angular rate sensors to capture more complex movements then ever before with the in original Wii Remote.

Keep in mind these added functionalities are only read by games that are compatible with the Wii Remote Plus. If you are deciding to purchase the Wii Plus Remote with the new advanced features built within there are a variety of colors to choose from. there are also some specialty ones in North America that are only available with a bundle such as the Red Wii Motion Plus and the Red Wii Bundle with the New Super Mario for the Wii Console.

After testing the two remotes out I can truly say you feel the difference, and if you are ot careful can become your downfall, but if you take time you will get used to the new sensitivity and be able to enjoy a greater gaming experience from it. This is just another chapter int the Wii Movement, I can’t waot to see what they come up with next.

Holding the controller upright in front of you as a shield you can then move your new upad up down left and right to see the surrounding areas. where your walls should be.

You can use this shield pose to stop attacks from hitting their target, being you the same way, by simply holding the screen in front like a shield and blocking the arrows as you look around to stop the onslaught.

It seems that the new controller truly will bring another point of view into virtual space allowing you to circle your room as opposed to looking at your TV all the time. This will truly bring a new element to the functionality of the games, and is a yet another reason for such a Wii Movement.

Imagine the possibilities, running through a military zone trying to rescue the hostages while looking around your room for enemies from above and all around trying to get a drop on you. Maybe we will be able to play our sports games in first person where we can look back to see if our opponent is coming after us as well. or imagine having the ability to look back at your blind spot anytime you wanted in a racing game. Possibilities are endless so stay tuned for what comes next in the Wii Movement.

Another great game that I can’t wait to play will be the Mii Battle. This game allows the wiiu remote user to defend himself in the ship while the other wii characters try to shoot oyu out of the sky. It truly seems that Nintendo has Added many new uses for our Mii Characters.

You will even be able to integrate your mii characters into games like Super Mario and others to come I am sure. You have also received more options when dressing your mii with a larger selection of Pants, shirts and skirts so it has been rumoured.

One thing is for sure when the new uPad comes out for the Wiiu gaming system i will be part o the movement upgrading the date of release which will hopefully be released soon. Until then keep following our Blog for the latest news, reviews and updates on the Wii Movement and your Mii.

This innovative console will integrate the controller with the functionality of:

touchscreen
traditional input controls
New Motion Style Gaming System

It seems you do not even need a television allowing you to play your games directly on your controller as if it was a portable gaming unit and a console system all in one. Just imagine not having to stop playing your game when your favorite show comes on.

The Wii u is fully backward compatible allowing you to utilize your Wii Remotes, Nun-chucks as well as your newer upgraded Wii Plus Remotes. Nintendo and the overall sleek controller style brings the sensation of holding a tablet in your hands.

It seems that Nintendo thought of everything integrating a Nintendo 3DS with the Wii Console controller style to create a fully new innovative piece of premium gaming entertainment. We will keep a close watch on the Wii u Movement so come back soon.

Nintendo Wii Gamers Review: Donkey Kong Barrel Blast – Fun For All Ages! For all those Donkey Kong Fanatics, as well as those racing fans that want a new twist to your challenge. I invite you to test your skills and stamina at Nintendo Wii’s Donkey Kong Barrel Blast. This game is great for the kids and is even more fun for the kid at heart.

From a stamina point of view it is not as easy as simply turning the wheel in a racing game on the Wii, instead you actually have to rapidly shake your Wii Remote as well as your Wii Nunchuk in order to race through the various race courses and challenges within the game. To turn your Barrel Blast Racer you simply shake the corresponding Wii remote while refraining from shaking the opposite until your turn is complete. once you have made your turn continue shaking both Wii Remotes in an alternating approach. once you have reached MAX SPEED you can stop and give your arms a rest, but watch your speed as you can loose momentum this way very easily.

For a game rated E for everyone I truly must agree. the moves are basic, but it truly will test your stamina, These are the type of games that your 3 year old child will whoop their parents in showing them that it is time to get back into shape, or it will at least create a fun friendly competitive game for your children to enjoy and with up to four players simultaneously it will surely be one for the whole family on Game Night.

From the Main Screen you have the option of:

Jungle Grand Prix:
Race for the cup against the CPU and your friends and family.

Single Race:
Play any of the available race tracks which have been unlocked. Up to four players can connect.

Time Trial:
Race the clock and yourself after you have saved your first race time in this method of training to hone your turning skills and better your lap speed.

Free Run:
As stated there is really no goal to this level and is just a cruise through the Jungle or track of your choice where you can map out your plan of action in the Jungle Grand Prix.

Cranky’s Flight School:
Our Delightful Cranky Kong is back to teach us a few things about Barrel Racing, you would be wise to listen. Choose the lessons that most interest you.

Candy’s Challenges:
Our beloved Candy Kong is having some fun with you. She has came up with a variety of challenges from not finishing last to destroying a specific amount of barrels. See if you can complete all Candy’s challenges for an added fun factor in the game.

There are also your Records and Options tab where you can view your current race records and adjust any of the available gaming options including your dominant hand, controls, etc.

When things get in your way you can either go around them, jump over them or even knock them out of the sky. Floating balloons throughout the course provides you with various special items you can use and when you collect fifty bananas you can use your wild move simply tilt the nunchuk joystick straight up until your character goes red then release and watch your Barrel Blast racer move like you just added nos to your barrels. If you hit consecutive barrels and opponents during a wild move you can also collect combo bonuses tending the time of your Wild Move.

I have played and enjoyed this game with both my friends on a Sunday evening as well as with my 3 year old son who by the way, has an undefeated record. One day I will get him, but until then if you have yet to try this entertaining game filled with Donkey Kong, Diddy and all his friends I say get out there and FLY TO VICTORY!

Due to such a large marketing effort for the Nintendo DS this little beauty was often ignored in the eyes of the retail stores and putting it on the backburner if you will while concentrating their focus on selling the newly developed Nintendo DS which was getting all the media craze at the time. The formal release for the Nintendo Micro in North America was September 19th 2005.

Dispite this fact The Q1 2007 Nintendo earnings release stated that 2.42 million Gameboy Micro Units were sold world wide as of March 31st 2007. Including just shy of 1 million units in North America. The Gameboy Micro was the size of a classic NES controller with a discreet 2 inch screen at a resolution of 240×160 for your gaming and was the final release in Nintendo’s Gameboy Line.

Some of the features included a backlit screen with brightness control for lighting adaptation, a sleek pocket size design at only 4 inches wide, 2 inches tall and a minimal 0.7 inches deep. The entire untit weighed in at only 2.8 ounces and boasted a 32-bit 16.8mhz processor. The Gameboy Micro was also equipped with built in Lithion Ion Rechargabel batteries which could last up to 5 hours on a full charge using your highest brightness and audio levels, or an impressive 8hrs when utilizing the units default settings.

The Gameboy Micro was not capable of playing the original gameboy or gaemboy colour cartridges however was a truly superior upgrade to the Gameboy Advance SP’s unit being praised for its increased visibility due to enhanced lighting and sharpness of the image. The Gameboy Micro even came with many versatile faceplate options to fully customize the look of your handheld beauty.

In conclusion it is truly amazing what we can miss if we do not keep our eyes open, you never know when a new upgrade may have came out that just has not yet caught your eye, and often there are more choices then one. Make your choices wisely and ensure you have the opportunity to consider all options or you too may miss out on the next “Gameboy Micro Scenerio”.

We all have our favorite game, console , controller, or some sort of perriphal which Nintendo was full of, Do you remember the Power Glove. The Nintendo Entertainment Systems secret weapon for playing games like Mike Tyson’s Punch Out. This was the first peripheral interface controller to recreate human hand movements on a television or computer screen in real time while still allowing the user to function the glove the same way a regular controller for other games not needing the motion and interactivity.

So what was your favorite Console? Was it playing Dragon Warrior and defeating the Dragon Lord in the Castle of the Dragon King on the Nintendo Entertainment System? Or maybe you were more partial to the introduction of Yoshi in Super Mario World on the Super NES. Are you a newcomer to the World of Nintendo, maybe you are just getting into the Wii System and fell in love with the exercise and interactivity you receive out of the Wii Fit games.

No matter your preference and favorites, one thing is for sure Nintendo has been a part of our lives for many a year. Truly lucky aare we that have encountered the enjoyment of picking up a controller and disappearing into a realm of fiction and imagination. Swinging your way through one of the many mazes and puzzles trying to save a princess named Zelda, or simply making your way to the end of a long rpg like Chrono Trigger opr final fantasy you always find yourself having the opportunity to escape your reality and just enjoy yourself as if you were a child again.

No matter the age we can always pick up that controller and see where our mind and the game takes us. Some may strike fear into the user, where others are simply great stress relief such as bodyslamming your opponent down on the squared circle ring that is the WWE Wrestling.

So now that we have assesssed your favorite, it is time to get playing, what are you waiting for. These games do no good sitting on a shelf, or in a box in your basement. if you still have your classic cartridge system I say hook it up and have a blast, if not remember that in the Wii channel there are many emulators of the old school games which we loved so much as kids. Test some new oldies out while you are at it, if for nothing more then to respect the advancements we have accomplished as we truly have came a long way from that boxey looking Mario on the NES and that is something to be proud of. So once again I ask, What is your Favorite?

If you didn’t like the Nintendo Wii because it didn’t have the cutting-edge graphics offered by the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, then the new Wii U might change your mind. The Wii U is expected to release in the second half of 2012 and it is capable of delivering high quality HD graphics that is comparable to the graphics on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games. Also, the new Wii U has a new tablet-like controller with a 6 inch touchscreen, camera, and motion sensors. Nintendo changed the way we play video games with the Nintendo Wii, and they are doing it again on the new Wii U console. The current top selling video game console is the Xbox 360. If you are planning on buying your first video game console and can’t decide whether to go for the popular Xbox 360 or wait for the feature-rich and unique Nintendo Wii U, then this comparison of the Wii U and Xbox 360 might help you make a decision.

Size

The Wii U is 1.8 inches tall, 6.8 inches wide and 10.5 inches long, while the Xbox 360 is 2.75 inches tall, 10.5 inches wide, and 10.25 inches long. The Xbox is bigger and heavier than the Wii U. The small size of the Wii U allows you to place it almost anywhere, such as under your TV or into a bookcase.

Controller

The new Wii U controller incorporates a 6 inch touchscreen, A/B/X/Y buttons, L/R trigger buttons, ZL / ZR bumper buttons, one D-pad, 2 Circle Pads, 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer for motion control, rumble, built-in stereo speakers, a built-in microphone, a front-facing camera, and a built-in rechargeable battery. The screen of the new controller replicates the gameplay being shown on your TV screen, allowing you to play even while your TV is off. The Xbox 360 controller has A/B/X/Y buttons, a D-pad, LT/LB/RT/RB buttons, and requires AA batteries. Obviously, the Wii U controller is better than the Xbox 360 controller because it has more functions and features and includes a rechargeable battery. It also allows you to play Wii U games without needing to turn on your TV, which is a huge plus.

Hardware

The Nintendo Wii U has an IBM multi-core 45 nm processor (processor speed currently unknown) and a custom AMD Radeon HD GPU (has similar architecture to the Radeon R700). The Xbox 360 has a 3.2 GHz Tri-Core Xenon processor and a 500 MHz ATI Xenos GPU. When it comes to hardware, the Wii U is more powerful than the Xbox 360. The graphics of the Wii U’s games also seem to be of higher quality than the graphics of the games on the Xbox 360.

Overall
Overall, the Wii U is better and more powerful than the Xbox 360. The Wii U’s controller is better then the Xbox 360’s and it has more powerful hardware. If you want the best console for playing games, then we suggest you wait for the Wii U to come out in the second half of 2012. The Nintendo Wii U offers a new way to enjoy video games at home.
